About

I am Jeff Lund a.k.a. Rauko. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at Brigham Young University. My research has mostly been focused on topic modeling (the automatic discovery of topics or themes in text). I’ve also picked up quite a few other machine learning tools along the way. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to intern at various companies like GE, Lucid Software and Google.

This site however, is dedicated to all of my hobby coding and side-projects. Foremost among these projects is Sticks and Stones, a survival based roguelike set in the Stone Age. The dev blog on this site will deal primarily with work on Stones. However, the site will also have random articles and write ups of other stuff as I see fit. In any case, you can watch most of the work on this and other projects live on my livecoding.tv channel here: https://www.livecoding.tv/rauko/.
